Hacking of a password to open MS Word 97/2000/XP/2003 document requires a connection to the Password Server.

Depending on the version of Microsoft Word it was created in, some passwords can be cracked while others – can not. The following table shows what types of passwords can be recovered and removed with Word Password Recovery Lastic.

* MS Word 97/2000/XP/2003 documents protected with non-standard CSP (Crypto Service Provider) are not supported by the program.
